Ayurveda
Loosely translated, Ayur means ‘life’, Veda means ‘science of life’.
Practised for more than 5000yrs, Ayurveda (a way of life) is India’s traditional holistic, medical and wellbeing system. It is based on nature’s five elements – Space, Air, Fire, Water and Earth (Pancha Mahabhutas).

Ayurveda is a system that allows you to understand your unique body type and how you interact with the world.
Conscious Living is about the delicate harmony of our mind, body and spirit – tuning and navigating into the flow of your inner and outer nature.
Understanding your internal imbalances and connecting them to what is happening in and around you right now.
Ayurveda is Conscious Living; Your diet, daily routines, exercise and even thoughts and intentions – Ayurveda is a part of everyday life.
Doshas
Dosha means ‘that which is at fault’. Doshas are not a problem, until there is an imbalance or an aggravation in the body. This is due to the impact on the body from diet, lifestyle and the environment.
As mentioned above, Ayureveda is based on nature’s five elements. These elements are represented in the body by three doshas:
- Vata > Elements: Space + Air
- Pitta > Elements: Fire + Water
- Kapha > Elements: Water + Earth
Balancing the doshas restores exhibiting ailments; Returning you to health and vitality, returning you to your best self!
